This Cancellation Policy applies to orders placed on https://sbsons.com with SB SONS WORLD. Please read it together with our Terms & Conditions, Shipping & Delivery Policy, and Returns & Refund Policy.
1. Cancellation Before Dispatch
You may request cancellation of a standard order before it has been dispatched.
Please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order. Eligibility depends on the order’s dispatch status when we receive your request, subject to the personalisation rules below. We will check the status and confirm the cancellation by email or WhatsApp.
Our usual dispatch estimate of 1–2 working days is not a guaranteed cancellation window; an order may be dispatched within that period.
2. Engraved and Customised Orders
For utensils with name inscription, logo engraving or other customisation, cancellation may be requested only before dispatch and before the personalisation process has begun.
Once the agreed personalisation process has started, cancellation for a change of mind is not available, even if the item has not yet been dispatched.
Please check the spelling, text and other personalisation instructions carefully before ordering. This restriction does not remove your rights if we supply a defective item, carry out the personalisation incorrectly, fail to deliver, or otherwise fail to fulfil the agreed order.
3. How to Request Cancellation

Include your order number, customer name and registered phone number or email address. You may also include the reason for cancellation to help us understand your request.
Keep a copy of your message. We will communicate the cancellation outcome through email or WhatsApp. A request alone should not be treated as confirmation that the order has been cancelled.
4. Orders Already Dispatched
Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation for a change of mind is not available under this policy.
If you wish to return an item after delivery, please refer to our Returns & Refund Policy for eligibility, timelines and the return process. Your applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.
5. Cancellation by SB SONS WORLD
We may need to cancel an order if a product is unavailable, the delivery address cannot be serviced, payment cannot be verified, or a genuine pricing or listing error prevents us from fulfilling the agreed order.
If we cancel your order, we will notify you by email or phone/WhatsApp and refund any amount received for the cancelled order. We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
6. Refunds for Cancelled Orders
For an eligible prepaid cancellation, we refund the amount paid for the cancelled order to the original payment method.
Refunds are initiated within 5–7 working days after cancellation confirmation, whether the eligible order is cancelled at your request or by SB SONS WORLD.
Refund initiation is the point at which we submit or process the refund. The time taken for the money to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider and may be additional to our initiation timeline.
For a COD order where no payment has been collected, no refund is due.
If you have received refund confirmation but the money has not appeared in your account, contact us with your order number so we can help trace the refund.
7. Consumer Rights
This policy does not limit any cancellation, refund or other remedy available under applicable Indian consumer law, including remedies for defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed products, or non-delivery.
